24MEDIA & NBA Extend Partnership for League's Official Online Destination in Greece

The National Basketball Association (NBA) and 24 MEDIA, the largest digital media network in Greece, today announced an extension of their partnership to serve as the host of NBA.com/Greece, the official online destination for NBA fans in Greece.

NBA.com/Greece, hosted within Sport24.gr, allows fans in Greece to follow the NBA in their language, offering access to multimedia content, extensive editorials, real-time in-depth statistics, as well as all the news from top NBA journalists in Greece. Record Braking Visits for the Sports Web TV Show SUPERBALL in SPORT24 & CONTRA

Record braking traffic figures for the show SUPERBALL on Sunday, the 9 of December, with 27,580 unique visitors and more than 1700 submitted messages and comments.

The show aired live immediately after the end of the football derby between Panathinaikos and Olympiacos; hosted continuous reportage, live links to the Olympic Stadium, exclusive news and rich content.

Additionally, there were live interviews on video link from the special studio of SUPERBALL at OAKA stadium, with most important the ones of John Alafouzos - President of FC Panathinaikos and Orestes Karnezis, goal keeper of Panathinaikos.

The live web TV broadcast of SUPERBALL successfully continues the live television coverage of sports news and news in Sport24.gr & Contra.gr, every Sunday after the final whistle of the Superleague matches. It is worth mentioning that the content of the Web TV show is also available on video on demand, a few minutes after the end of each live broadcast.

Onewoman 2012: Voting Contest for the 2nd Year in Oneman.gr

Oneman.gr, the largest men's site in Greece, organized for the second consecutive year the voting contest “Onewoman 2012,” giving once more the opportunity to its readers to elect the most beautiful Greek woman for 2012.

Overall, 100 Greek women from the world of acting, television, music, politics, sports and modeling, selected from the editorial team of ONEMAN, based on the publicity they got during the past year.

Voting has already begun and will continue until the last days of the year. The votes are counted and the results are continuously adapted to the new data received with every vote.

SPORT24 and Fightsports.gr Announce New Partnership

A new partnership for the promotion and flourishing of martial arts in Greece kick starts today. The Fightsports.gr and the premium sports portal in Greece, SPORT24, join forces aiming to provide timely and accurate information to the public for the field of martial arts.

Greek athletes of martial arts excel abroad and SPORT24 with Fightsports.gr enter together all the rings, octagons and tatamis of the world, in order to promote all Greek successes and provide the best possible information to its users.

The two websites will work on producing content for UFC GREECE, the official destination for UFC fan in Greece. The UFC GREECE mini site is hosted within SPORT24 and broadcasts live, free and exclusively all UFC fights in Greece and Cyprus.

Exclusive Interview of Zeljko Obradovic on SPORT24

The exclusive interview of Zeljko Obradovic at SPORT24 was completed with great success. The leading basketball coach of Europe and his direct partner at the bench of Panathinaikos, Dimitris Itoudis, have given a complete interview just a few days before the Final Cup and the Euroleague quarter final with Macambi.

The interview lasted more than 2 hours and presented Obradovic with the opportunity to express his views on many matters. The readers kept sending their questions through the Live platform of SPORT24 while at the same time they were able to send their questions and comments through Twitter using hashtag #Obradovic. A lot of questions were received from other countries as well, like Serbia, Turkey and Spain. The response rate was extremely high as 13.500 readers took part in the discussion, more than 350 tweeted about it and more than 2.200 questions were posed stating a new record for the LIVE interviews of sport24.gr, the most important tradition of interviews in the Greek internet.   

The interview was reproduced by the foreign media and newspapers like Marca in Spain, Hoopshype in the United States and Serbian Sport which featured it on their front page.  

iPad Event 2012: Impressive Live Coverage of iPhonehellas.gr

The LIVE coverage of Apple’s event “We have something you really want to see. And touch” was completed successfully by the team of iPhoneHellas.gr. The event was sponsored by ACE – Hellas.

The event was covered live through the homepage of the site and was followed by extensive articles that were posted in the blog and the forum. At the same time there was extensive coverage and commentary through Twitter (#iPadGR) and through the official Facebook page of iPhoneHellas.gr.

Techgear.gr and Macuser.gr presented insightful articles regarding the new products and services that were announced, offering a complete technological approach.
