"AD10S DIEGO", SPORT24 activation in honor of Diego Maradona

Sport24_Adios_Diego_DT.png

With a highly symbolic move and plenty of content, the largest sports site in the country, Sport24.gr honored the Argentine football legend.

SPORT24 changed the colors of its logo, while displaying the message "AD10S DIEGO". It was a small tribute to a man who was called God and was a reference point for the most popular sport on the planet, football.

Of course, SPORT24, having as its great and eternal weapon the immediate and valid information, did not stop producing topics related to Diego Armando Maradona and this was done through 100 and more texts, from VIDEO LIVE show, from Podcast "Zosimar" and of course from social media.

As in all major events, the public chose SPORT24 again, to find out all the news since the topics regarding the great Argentine gathered 13 million pageviews in 2 days, and more than 300 thousand interactions in social media. At the same time, the live show of the director and editor-in-chief of SPORT24, Pantelis Vlachopoulos and Themis Kessaris, a few minutes after the news was learned, gathered a total of almost 70K views on all platforms.

SPORT24 was and is obliged to offer its audience complete and 360 information and at the same time, it felt obliged to honor a man who was… football. It was and remains his duty for the older generations to remember and for the new ones to learn about Diegito.

This is SPORT24, it is not enough to be just a good sports site. It wants to be purely athletic and clearly the top.
