24 MEDIA, the largest digital media group, in the framework of its strategic development and investment in the digital information, creates the pioneering department 24 MEDIA News Lab, headed by Konstantinos Antonopoulos.

24 MEDIA News Lab aims to research and implement practices and innovations that redefine the way journalism is produced and disseminated in the age of digital media. Storytelling, social listening, video journalism and collaborations with major publishers abroad, are some of the features of the innovative journalism platform created by 24 MEDIA.

Konstantinos Antonopoulos assumes the duties of Director of the 24 MEDIA News Lab, with many years of experience as a visual journalist, having worked in various Greek media, on web, tv, radio and newspapers. From 2013 to 2019 he worked at Al Jazeera English, as a senior interactive producer at AJ Labs, senior engagement producer and Instagram Lead. His projects have won numerous international awards, including two Webby Awards and a United Nations Correspondents Award. He has developed training programs for journalists and newsrooms in infographic design, social storytelling and mobile journalism and has created courses for the Al Jazeera Training Institute.
